BHGF partners with Cobb and Douglas County Health Department for National HIV Testing Day

BHGF partnered with Cobb and Douglas County Public Health Department to host a National HIV Awareness Day initiative outside of Walmart. Cobb and Douglas County Public Health Department provided free HIV testing, and individuals that participated were provided meal coupons to get tested. Local food vendors and an on-site DJ were also part of the community initiative.

B Healthy Stroll Off in honor of National Youth HIV Awareness Day

BHGF hosted a National Youth HIV Awareness stroll competition on Morehouse College campus where students educated their peers on HIV, PrEP, U=U, condoms and Stigma while competing for prizes. Local health department officials and community organizations provided on site testing for STDs and HIV. The event was also live broadcasted by Streetz 94.5.

SISTERLOVE AND BHGF COLLABORATE TO REDUCE HIV IN BLACK WOMEN

BHGF and SisterLove Inc. partnered to host a National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day testing initiative in Atlanta, GA. The event provided attendees with free HIV testing, and meal coupons for individuals that got tested. Music was provided by an on-site DJ.

BHGF at Morehouse College New Student Orientation (NSO)

BHGF Executive Director Jason Panda, Esq. spoke at New Student Orientation (NSO) at Morehouse College on the importance of safe sex, consent and following your dreams. Michelle Allen from the Georgia State Department of Public Health shared the stage and provided further insights into the importance of communication and getting regularly tested if you are sexually active.
