College Running Back Signs NIL Deal With 1st Black Condom Company

Rayquan Smith has been about that NIL action since it became a reality earlier this year.

“When it came out, I just said — I’ve been doing it — so I might as well get paid for doing it now,” Smith told WAVY-TV last month.

Back in August, the Norfolk State running back picked up his most high-profile client in Eastbay, which made him the first HBCU male athlete to become an endorser of the sneaker giant.

Smith, who is signed to Berry Athlete Representation deal and currently endorses 15 products, has another one from just this month that is garnering a ton of attention. The rising sophomore has teamed up with B Condoms, which is the 1st Black Owned Condom company in the world.

“It don’t matter how big the brand it is, how small the brand is — if it fits me, I’m going to stick with it. I’m gonna go with it, and hopefully, it will be a long-term deal and go a long way,” he said.

As a freshman in 2019, Smith rushed for 450 yards and one score on just 84 carries.

For the 2021 season, Rayquan Smith has 26 carries for 116 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. He also has 2 catches for 29 yards and another TD.
